Spiritual Direction

Many people who want to experience God in their everyday lives wish they had understanding companions along the way. They seek Christians who take their questions about faith and life seriously and who support them without judgment or condemnation. Some of our sisters offer spiritual direction. The give people time and attention and share not only their doubts, fears, and pain, but also their joy and happiness. For Sr. M. Huberta this companionship is a type of "midwifery": It pays to wait patiently until one sees what already exists deep inside a person because God put it there.
