Wednesday, 08.9.2010Sr. M. Grace celebrates her first profession in Uganda
A historical day in the almost 150-year history of our Congregation of the Sisters of Mary of Mount Carmel: Sr. M. Grace John Okumu from Homa Bay, Kenya, celebrated her first profession in the parish church of St. Kizito in Kyengeza, Uganda, where since 2002 we Sisters of Mary of Mount Carmel have been building a mission station. She is our first African Sister of Mary of Mount Carmel. -
